Experienced in marketing, sales, and business management, Laurence Verga is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Verga Consulting, a business he founded. In his current role, Verga counsels business professionals on profit maximization through marketing and sales strategies.
Since 2002, Verga has also served as Chief Executive Officer and President of Verga Enterprises, a family real estate practice that he took over following the passing of its founder. In less than 10 years at Verga Enterprises, Laurence Verga has negotiated more than $100 million in purchases, sales, and leases, while reducing the company?s debt and improving its market value from $13 million to $70 million.
Verga previously served as a telecommunications sales manager in San Francisco, California, working for companies including Live 105/CBS Viacom and National Cable Communications LLC. Laurence Verga maintained a record of achievement in sales, exceeding targets and outselling his competition.
Prior to his entry into sales management, Verga worked as a Senior Account Executive for AT&T Advertising, receiving the Outstanding Research Award from Ford Motor Company as well as multiple Client Service Awards. He also spent two years as an Account Executive for KSFO and KGO, two San Francisco-based radio stations, where he was recognized as the company?s top salesperson. Earlier in his career, Verga worked as a Family Therapist for the United Way and as a Counselor with the City of San Francisco.
Laurence Verga completed a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology at the University of California, Berkeley, in 1986, and subsequently earned a Master of Arts in Psychology from Antioch University Los Angeles in California. A former candidate for Virginia?s Fifth District in the United States House of Representatives, Verga makes his home in Charlottesville, Virginia.
